Two ways in, and only two. Calling is quickest — a thirty-second description usually places the fault, and often tells us which part to load before we set off. If you would rather pick a slot yourself, the booking page takes about two minutes.

The booking page asks for the appliance, the neighbourhood and what it is doing, then shows the slots that are actually free. Have the model and serial to hand if you can — that one detail decides which parts ride along.

  • Oven half went dead while the burners kept working. It turned out to be the transformer feeding the board, not the board itself. The part came from Seattle so it took two visits, but the diagnosis was right.

  • The downdraft would rise halfway and stop. Lift motor was fine; a limit switch had worked loose in the housing. He adjusted it and cycled the thing a dozen times before leaving.

  • No simmer at all on the front left — either off or full flame. The valve needed its low-flame screw set after a gas conversion done by the last owner. Holds a proper low now.
